area of triangle=1/2×base×height
=1/2×4.9×10.2
=4.9×5.1
=24.99 square units

area of Δ=½×base×height

 \frac{1}{2} \times base \times height

 \frac{1}{2} \times \frac{49}{10} \times \frac{102}{10}

 \frac{4998}{200} = \frac{2494}{100} = \frac{1247}{50} = 24.94cm²
