In humans ,

the oesophagus is about 25 cm in length, stomach is about 30.5 cm in length , small intestine is of about 600 cm and that of large intestine is 150 cm.

When we intake food it passes through the oesophagus and reaches stomach .

After digestion , the digested material reaches small intestine , then large intestine where water and ions are absorbed .

So , in this way average distance travelled by food in our body comes out to be of 806 cm or 317 inches or 26 feet.
