a. natural classification system
these were based on natural affinities among the organisms not only the external features like habitat, shapes of leaves, colour ,etc.
but also internal features like ultra structure anatomy, embryology and phyoto chemistry.
b. phylogenetic genetic classification system
based on evolutionary relationship among them.
