mir quasim and the british clashed in a couple of battles in 1763 CE . mir quasim fled to awadh and shah alam 2 ,the mughal emperor the combined forces of mir quasim , shuja ud daulah and shah alam 2 clashed with the british armu at buxar won convincinly and reinstated mir jafar as the nawab of bengal.

Britishers and Mir Qasim in October 1764.He allied with Mughal emperor Shah Alam || and Nawab of Awadh.Result was in favour of the British.As a result the British got the right to trade free in Awadh and the Diwani right of Bengal, Bihar and Orissa from the Mughal emperor Shah Alam || in 1765.
