What is the best alternative to democracy? Examine two of its merits and demerits

Though democracy is not completely equal but partially partial, there is no other best alternative than the current system. Until now, no other political systems better than democracy have been implemented.

Democracy is , however , not without contradictions . But still it is the best form of goverment compared to dictatorship or monarchies etc .

Merits :- 1. Democracy provides space for fair and healthy competition , 2. The option of justified protest is open to all .

Demerits :- 1. Leaders keep changing in democracy so there is lack of stability ,

2. Democracy gives rise to party loyalties and decreases the feeling of loyalty towards the nation .
