by "good".
If you mean the big guys, then we have Ubisoft (Pune), Electronic Arts (Hyderabad), Glu (Hyderabad), Zynga (Bangalore) and Reliance Games (Pune).

There aren't any proven companies in PC/console scene in India at the moment (Ubisoft, EA in India usually work on mobile and outsourcing to the best of my knowledge). DSK Green Ice Games (Pune) is set to change that, and they have interesting upcoming PC titles.

Larger studios based out of India are Dhruva Interactive (Bangalore), Lakshya Digital (Delhi) among others. Then there's Tiny Mogul Games (Bangalore), The Awesome Games Studio (Hyderabad), Dumadu Games (Bangalore), Nautilus Mobile (Hyderabad) etc.
Again, these guys fall into either of: outsourcing, mobile or social games development (with some exceptions).

A lot of the "good" (or at least more interesting) games by my definition however, are being made by indies like Ogre Head Studio (Hyderabad), Yellow Monkey Studios (Mumbai), Pyrodactyl Games (Jaipur), Seven Summit Studios (Hyderabad) and others.
