Assuming that you start with one (homogenous) premix of vitamins and minerals select one of them as marker. Take some 20 samples from the feed and analyse them for the marker content. The variation in results will tell you whether mixing has been done properly. Having proper procedures for feed preparation for each (type of) feed mill, will preclude largely the necessity of checking this.
