The cap seller went to the forest for resting.

Why did the cap seller need to rest?

  • According to the story, the cap seller was tired after selling a few caps.
  • Hence, he thought of taking rest under a tree in the forest. While he was resting, some monkeys took away his hats and wore them.
  • When the cap seller woke up he was shocked to see all his caps gone. He then came to know that the monkeys were imitating him.
  • Hence, he dropped his hat looking at which the monkeys also  dropped their hats.
  • The cap seller collected the hats and went.
