what is the cause of the myopia...
Answers
There two basic points-
1.due to shortening or lengthening of the eyeball, owing to which the image in not formed properly on the retina.
2.due to a defect in the eye lens which does not allow the image to be formed properly
The causes of myopia are as follows :-
1. The lens has become too much curved .
2. The length of the eye ball increased from front to back .
→ The myopia is a defect of the human eye and is also termed as short/near sightedness .
→ This is an abnormal condition of the eye in which one cannot see distant objects clearly .
→ The image of the distant object is formed near the retina .
→ To correct the vision , a concave lens is used which has the power to diverge the light rays .
→ The concave lens diverges the image so that it forms on the retina .
→ The power of the lens used is mentioned in minus (-) .
