when the position of the object is at infinity then the size of the image is highly diminished and point size when it is at beyond C it is diminished when it is at C the image formed is same size when the object is between the centre of curvature and focus the image formed is enlarged when it is at focus the image formed is highly enlarged when the object is between focus and Pole the image formed is enlarged.

The size if the image icreade slightly, though the image remains diminished in comparison with the size of the object. When an object is at infinity, the image formed is highly diminished, point sized, virtual and erect. So that means that if the object is brought closer to the lens, then the image becomes larger.
