Gaston was a miser man and business minded. He was good at business as he cheated Juliette and hided everythinf from his wife Jeanne.. when they(Jeanne and gaston) came to look for the villa Gaston was not appreciating a single thing that Jeanne was appreciating as wanted to buy for her parent.. gaston liked her family but not that much that he would spend money for them from his pockket(so he is miser)..
