ambedakr wanted special consetuiency for sc sc in wich sc st could only vote no obc or genral could vote but gandhiji did`t

- It was during the national movement when Ambedkar and Gandhiji had a talk about Dalits
- Dr Ambedkar believed and wanted a separate electorate for the Dalits as he thought they were being left out and not given any importance.
- So Gandhiji told Ambedkar that if that was done other minor groups would also rise and start asking for separate electorates as well
- Finally , they ended it that they would get reservations rather than separate electorates and signed the Poona pact .
