in chemistry the coefficient is the no. in front of formula.the coefficient tell is how many molecules of a given formula are present...
2H2O means we have two molecules of water
suppose v have a balanced equation..
N2+3H2--------->2NH3
we know we have coefficient....
1 for N2
3 for H2
