Chlorophyll is green in colour and as a result, it is what that gives the leaves a green colour.
Chlorophyll is very important for photosynthesis. The colour is green because it absorbs all the other colour spectrum but reflects out green.
Chlorophyll is seen in the chloroplasts, in the thylakoids sac.
