Blue light on the visible spectrum bounces more in our atmosphere, that's why sky appearsto be blue whereas in space, there's no medium for light to get scattered or reflected and thus it appears to be black

blue
The daytime sky is blue because light from the nearby Sun hits molecules in the Earth's atmosphere and scatters off in all directions. The blue color of the sky is a result of this scattering process.
