Some of the similarities among these states are as:
a. Awadh, Hyderabad and Bengal all these were Mughal provinces .
b. They were established by members of Mughal mobility , who were governors of large provinces. They were former mansabdars who had gradually grown in their influence and authority. They occupied high positions in the masabdari system.
c. All three regimes contracted with revenue-farmers for the collection of revenue.
