what is the complement of 90-x

It's complement will be :

90°-(90-x)

Complement angle of any angle is that when the complement angle is added to the given Angle the sum will be equal to 90° .

And the supplement of an angle is that when the supplement angle is added to the given Angle the sum will be equal to 180° .

angle +angles complement = 90

let the comple ment be a

(90-x) +a = 90

90-x =90-a

therefore x = a

therefore a +a =90

2a=90

a=90/2=45

therefore the complement is 45
