Technological advancement and raising competition globally pave way for the need to change. To change their organisation according to the global needs, there involves HRD (Human Resource Development) to manage these things. It is the responsibility of the HRD to take care of the company from frequent changes.

HRD is responsible for the following things when it comes to organisational change.

1. Understanding the changing needs.

2. A guiding coalition has to be created by the right individuals in the organisation as it is too tough for a single person to handle everything in an organisation.

3. Helping the employees to act on the vision to make their changing strategies successful.

4. Things that doesn’t need any change should not be altered.

5. Proper communication with their employees about the changing strategies should also help them to reduce the consequences that can be caused later.

6. Long run change is a vast procedure to undertake whereas the organisation can focus on short term changes and goals to visualize their organisational growth.

7. A proper mentoring and training regarding the changing environment should be given to the employees to make them feel comfortable and satisfied.

Change must be needed with the changing environment. We have to update our organisational practices according to the present life style. While introducing new products or new technology, one must go with the current trends to enrich their growth in the organisation. HRD plays a unique role in establishing this changing organisational environment as they are well known to deal with their human resources.
