The conditions for pure rolling are

when an object is rolling on a plane without slipping, the point of contact of the object with the plane does not move.

A rolling object's velocity v is directly related to its angular velocity ω , and is mathematically expressed as v=ωR v = ω R , where R is the object's radius and v is its linear velocity.

Condition of pure rolling:

• Pure rolling occurs when rolling is done without any resistance.

• Firstly friction is necessary to start the ball to rolling but once it starts rolling, it doesn’t require it.

• Pure rolling is a case when the point of lowest contact of rolling body with ground remains at rest and body is deliberated to be rotating about this point of contact.

Hope it helped....
