What is the condition of the ciliary muscles of the eye when the eye is looking at distant object .what is its effects on the focal length of the eye?

while looking at distant objects the ciliary muscles are either relaxed and in few cases contracted.
This, contraction causes the focal length of the eye lens increased.

Power of accomodation;

When the eye is looking at the distant objects, eye lens becomes more concave i.e., focal length increases
