Although equator passes throughAsia, South America, Oceania, it perfectly bisects equator into two halves. The dotted line which is at the centre is equator. As this one passes exactly at the centre makes the continent hotter because of the maximum sun rays near equator throughout the year.

Answer:

Continents like Africa, South America, and Asia fall under both Northern hemisphere and Southern hemispheres.

Explanation:

The Equator is the dividing line which separates our planet into the northern and southern hemispheres, therefore, if we follow the equator as our measuring line, we can see that there are several continents on the map that both fall under the northern and southern hemispheres, these continents are - Africa at Equatorial Guinea, South America at Ecuador, as well as parts of Asia.

While most of the continents are divided by hemispheres, Africa falls under all four hemispheres, which are north, south, east, and west. Thus Africa can be described as the only continent with both Prime Meridian and Ecuador crossing its land.
