breadth(wide) of the rectangular field = 200m

here, we have to find the cost of tilling the rectangular field at the rate of rs 7.5 per 100m^2

area of the rectangular field = l * b

= 500 * 200

= 100000m^2

if cost of 100m^2 is = rs 7.5, then cost of 1m^2 = 7.5/100

= rs 0.075

∴ total cost of tilling the rectangular field = 0.075 * 100000

= rs 7500
