WDP USES THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IN ORDER TO CLASSIFY THE COUNTRIES
- per capita income : this is the total income of the country divided by its total population
- life expectancy : it measures the average age of the person in our country
- literacy rate : this refer to the people who can read and write above the age of 7 years as education is important criteria for development
