WDP USES THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IN ORDER TO CLASSIFY THE COUNTRIES

  1. per capita income : this is the total income of the country divided by its total population
  2. life expectancy : it measures the average age of the person in our country
  3. literacy rate : this refer to the people who can read and write above the age of 7 years as education is important criteria for development

     4. gross enrollment ratio

hope it helps!!!
