Around 200 schools in various zones of Srinagar were opened on Monday. Ahead of the opening of schools in the district, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary convened a meeting with officers of the Education department and heads of schools in the district. The meeting had extensive discussions with regard to reopening of schools in the district from Monday and assistance required if any by the education department. However, the students were not seen attending the schools.
