Given :

  • Radius of Cylinder is 7 cm .
  • Height is 10 cm .

To Find :

  • Curved Surface Area of Cylinder .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Radius=7\:cm}

\longmapsto\tt{Height=10\:cm}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{C.S.A\:of\:Cylinder=2\pi{rh}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{2\times\dfrac{22}{{\not{7}}}\times{{\not{7}}}\times{10}}

\longmapsto\tt{2\times{22}\times{10}}

\longmapsto\tt{44\times{10}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{440\:{cm}^{2}}

So , C.S.A of Cylinder is 440 cm² ..

Answer :-

  • C.S.A of the cylinder is 440cm².

Given :-

  • The radius of a cylinder is 7 cm and its height is 10 cm.

To Find :-

  • Curved surface area of the cylinder.

Solution :-

Here

  • Radius of the cylinder is 7cm.
  • Height of the cylinder is 10cm.

As we know that

Curved surface area of a cylinder is

2πrh

Put the values in the formula

Now,

⇒ C.S.A = 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 10

⇒ C.S.A = 2 × 22 × 10

⇒ C.S.A = 44 × 10

⇒ C.S.A = 440cm²

Hence, the C.S.A of the cylinder is 440cm².

Extra Shots :-

  • Volume of cylinder = πr²h cubic units
  • Total surface area of cylinder = 2πr (h + r) square units
