⬛Here is the answer, you needed..

•Irrigation - It is the distribution of water equally in a crop field, In order to Provide the plants it's nutrition for growth. In simple terms, It is the process of watering the fields. The method of irrigation can be artificial or natural. Rain is the natural source of water to a field.

However, Rain is unpredictable, thus there is need for artificial irrigation arises. Some common types of irrigation used in madden times are -

*Furrow irrigation -In furrow irrigation, Water is allowed to enter the fields through channels or furrows between the rows of crops. This ensures equal distribution of water in the fields.

*Sprinkler irrigation - In sprinkler irrigation, water is allowed to fall like rain through revolving nozzles. the system is more useful on the uneven land where sufficient water js not available. It is useful for sand soil.

*Basin irrigation -In this method of irrigation, field is completely water logged as in cause of paddy.

*Drip irrigation - In this method of irrigation, water is allowed to fall drop by drop bear the roots of plant. This method reduces the wastage of water. It is the best technique for watering fruits, plants, gardens and trees.
