temporary changes are the changes which are there only for a short period if time. generally temporary changes are reversible.
eg melting of ice
permanent changes are the changes which remain for a longer time and are not reversible.
eg rusting of iron

temporary changes are those changes which are done for a short period of time, like some physical changes. :- freezing of water.
permanent changes are those changes which are done for a long period or fixed changes.,
like chemical changes. :- burning wood etc.
