  1. In frog, blood curpuscles are of three types: erythrocytes, leucocytes and thrombocytes.
  2. Erythrocytes, or RBCs, are large, oval bioconvex and nucleated. They are numerous and contain haemoglobin which is meant for the transportation of oxygen.
  3. Leucocytes, WBCs, are rounded or irregular, colourless and nucleated cells. They contain granular or agranular cytoplasm.
  4. Thrombocytes are small discoidal cells with clear cytoplasm and an oval or round nucleus.
