\huge\mathcal{\green{2) \ 100}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Dimensions of the Rectangular Tv screen are 80cm × 60cm.

To find:-

The diagonal of the Tv screen.

To construct:-

Join BD.

In rectangle ABCD;

AD = BC = 60cm

CD = AB = 80cm

Now, ∆BCD is a right angled triangle. [ because all angles of a rectangle are 90°]

Using Pythagoras theorem; we have

bd {}^{2}  =  {bc}^{2}  +  {cd}^{2}

 {bd}^{2}  = 3600 + 6400 \\ bd =  \sqrt{10000}

bd = 100

\huge\mathcal{\green{Therefore,}}

Diagonal is 100cm.
