First takes place the Intake of food i.e Ingestion.After that, our teeth do some physical digestion and increase the surface area of food for the action of enzymes.Then Saliva Amylase breaks down Carbohydrate present in food to some extent. The Saliva also helps in binding the food.This binded food is called 'Bolus'.This moves through the Oesophagus by a process called 'Peristalsis'  (simultaneous expansion and relaxation of circular muscles of food pipe).Food in the form of Bolus reaches the stomach.In Stomach, HCl is released which activates the proenzymes like prorennin and other protien ndigesting enzymes....plzz give a 4 star
