Yogurt is a dairy product that is created by bacterial fermentation of milk using 'yogurt cultures'. The bacteria causes fermentation of lactose and produce lactic acid. Curdis a dairy product obtained by curdling with an edible acidic substance such as lemon juice or vinegar, and then draining off the liquid portion.

Difference between curd and yogurt
CURD-curd is a dairy product obtained by coagulating milk in a process called curdling.The coagulation can be caused by adding rennet or any edible acidic substance such as lemon juice or vinegar and then allowing it to sit.
YOGURT-Yogurt ,yoghurt,or yoghourt  is a food produced by bacterial fermentation of milk.The bacteria used to make yogurt are known as 'yogurt cultures'.
