The difference between short circuiting and overloading isshort circuiting means phase wire and neutral wire are short each other unexpectedly. If short circuit is occurred then there is sparks and leads to fire.Overloading means increase the current value over rated value.

When live wire comes in contact with neutral wire is known as short circuiting. In this situation the current in the circuit abruptly increases. And overloading can occur when the live wire and the neutral wire come into indirect contact.it occurs when the insulation of wires is damaged.Hope it helps you plz mark me brainliest!!""!
