What is the difference between a benign and a malignant tumor?

• Tumours are the external growths caused due to the uncontrolled growth of some body tissues.

• Benign tumours are the tumours that stop growing after some time and are harmless. Example: moles and warts.

• Malignant tumours are the tumours that do not stop growing and damage the organs where they grow. Example: cancer.
