Hot air balloon is a cheaper mode of flying whereas helicopter is quiet expensive.
Helicopters work on rotation of motor , hot air baloon fly on the upthrust due to light , hot air.
Baloon is very simple concept whereas helicopteris a complex project with complicated design.
Baloon flies on the basis of buoyancy whereas helicopter fly due to Upthrust.
Baloon is lighter in weight than helicopter.
Baloon can carry less load and is not easy to steer , Helicopters can carry many loads and are steered efficiently.
Moreover baloon is more prone to risk due to flying birds than helicopters.
Hope I could increase your kind knowledge, if yes , please mark it as brainliest.

Hot air balloon achieve lift from his hot air.
bcoj hot air lift from upar side.
other side helicopter lift from air pressure.
when rotar is rotate, upar pressure is low compare than down side so helicopter lift upar side.
