What is the difference between a normal bicycle and a geared bicycle

In a geared bicycle you have to change the gear time to time while in a normal bicycle you do not need to change the gear because in it the system of gear is not present. When you ride a geared bicycle you can change or increase your speed time to time while in a normal bicycle you can change the speed as you wish.
