single circulation is possible only in mammals like birds as it has only two chambered heart in which a single loop circulatory pattern takes blood from.heart to the gills and then to the body

double circulation is possible in human beings because they have 4 chambered had and have to supply blood twice in the heart of oxygentaion and deoxygenation of blood
