what is the difference between a zebra crossing and a footpath on the road?

zeebra crossing means when signal gets red and if u want to cross road from one side to another we uses zebra crosing which is marked in white colour lines across the road and footpath is which that is located in sides of the road which people use for walking,,...

Zebra crossing is a black and white strip on a road which allows us to cross the road.If you cross a road with Zebra crossing the chances are less of accident.
Footpath is a Path constructed on the side of roads for pedestrians to walk.
