This quote is so so true. The worst day of loving someone is the day that you lose them. We gasp and ache for air that only comes in short insufficient bursts.
When this happens, we always question ourselves about why that person came in our life. If he/she would never have entered our life, then we would have never suffered such pain on losing him/her. That person's entry in our life, sometimes, changes us wholly and we do not ever get to be the same again after losing them also.
We plead to our head and heart to stop thinking about that person's memories at least long enough for us to inhale, exhale, and repeat. I did not know how I could be expected to not become a basket case under the circumstances. I wanted to blame the universe for putting me in such a pathetic situation. At last, after quite a few days of consoling ourselves for the loss, truth dawns on us. That it really, is a blessing to feel this aching pain, to have had someone who made saying good-bye so impossibly hard.
Hence, even though the worst day of loving someone is the day that you lose them, one cannot help but realize that even though a person is not with us any longer, we still have their fond memories with us.
