Hey friend your answer is here
An basic salt contains the conjugate base of a weak acid. So acetate is the conjugate base of a the weak acid acetic acid. So, sodium acetate is basic.

An acidic salt containg the conjugate acid of a weak base. So ammonium ion is the conjugate acid of the weak base ammonia. So, ammonium chloride would be an acidic salt.

Properties of acids

They are liquids
They are solutions of compounds in water.
If concentrated they can be corrosive.
Acids taste sour (for example, vinegar).
Turn blue litmus paper red - this is an easy test for an acid!Usually react with metals to form salts
.Acids contain hydrogen ions.

Bases are chemical substances that release OH- ions in their solutions. They are bitter in taste and changes red litmus to blue litmus. Metal oxides and hydroxides are good examples bases. We can observe many acids and bases in our everyday life such as Vinegar is dilute solution of acetic acid. Basic substances are mainly used as cleaning agents like ammonia, sodium hydroxide etc.
