2. Bases turns red litmus to blue.
3. In acids, Hydrogen (H+) ions are released.
3. In bases, Hydroxide(OH-) ions are released.
4. Acids react with metals to form Hydrogen.
4. Bases react with acids.
5. Acids has pH lower than 7.
5. Bases has pH higher than 7.
6. Acids react with carbonates to form CO₂ bubbles.
6. Bases don't react with carbonates.

Hello friend
Here goes your answer
◆ Acids are sour in taste.
◆Bases are bitter in taste and also soapy to touch.
◆Acids turn blue Litmus red.
◆ Bases turn red litmus blue
◆Acids have pH value less than 7 ◆Bases have pH value greater than 7
◆Acids furnish H+ ions on dissolution in water.
◆Bases furnish OH - ions on dissolution in water.
◆ Mineral acids are colourless, but sometimes sulphuric acid turns yellow because of impurities. Some organic acids are white coloured solids.
◆Bases are colourless except the hydroxides of iron and copper acids.
◆ Acids are produced by heating non metals with oxygen, giving non metal oxide and this on dissolution water given the corresponding acid.
◆ Bases are produced by heating metals with oxygen giving metal oxide and the sun resolution and water gives corresponding base.
