❄ Adolescence means the period between 10-19 years of age when the most noticeable changes in boys and girls are seen whereas Puberty is the period during which the reproductive systems of boys and girls mature.

❄ The hormone produced by testes is known as TESTOSTERONE.

❄ The reproductive organs in male are TESTES, SPERM DUCT, URETHRA, PENIS, ACCESSORY GLANDS (Seminal Vesicle, Prostate Gland, Cowper's Glands).

❄ The reproductive organs in female are OVARIES, FALLOPIAN TUBE (Oviduct), UTERUS (Womb) AND VAGINA.

❄ Fertilisation happens when the sperms introduced into the vagina of a female, and one of the sperms fuses with the ovum, in the fallopian tube. The nucleus of the sperm fuses with the nucleus of the egg. This is known as fertilisation.
