Answer:open circuit and closed circuit

Explanation:

Where there is any gap in the circuit and bulb does not glow then it is called a open circuit. The path for the flow of electricity to pass through the bulb is not complete.

Where there is no gap in the path of electricity and bulb starts to glow then it is called a closed circuit.

Answer:

A circuit is considered to be closed when electricity flows from an energy source to the desired endpoint (and back to the source) of the circuit. In other words, a closed circuit has a complete path for current to flow, whereas an open circuit doesn't, which means that it's not functional.03-Nov-2014
