Hey mate!

Plant tissues are of two types :-

Meristematic Tissue and Permanent Tissue

Meristematic tissue :- they are young tissue that is caple of continuously dividing and is responsible for the growth of the plant .

Meristematic tissue are of three types :-

1) Apical meristem :- they are found in the tip of a plant

2) Intercalary meristem :- they are found in the nodes and branches

3) Lateral meristem :- the gridth of the stem or root increase due to this tissue .

Permanent tissue :- they are specialized tissue that has lost its ability to divide and functions as protective , co nductive and supportive tissue .

Permanent tissues are further divided into two types simple Permanent tissue and complex permanent tissue

Simple Permanent tissue :-

They are of three types :-

1) Parenchyma :- this tissue generally stores food and they are further of two more types chlorenchyma and aerenchyma.

2) collenchyma :- flexibility of the plant .

3) Sclerenchyma :- this tissue makes the plant hard and stiff .

Complex permanent tissue :-

They are of two types :-

1) xylem :- Carrys water

2) phloem :- carrys food materials
