What is the difference between aqueous and non-aqueous solution?

The solutions made by dissolving various solutes in water are called aqueous solutions. For example a solution of salt in water is an aqueous solution.

AND

The solutions made by dissolving solutes in organic liquids or solvents which do not contain water are called non-aqueous solutions. For example benzene, ether are non-aqueous solvents.

Aqueous solutions are made of water as a solvent. Eg. Lemonade.

Non aqueous solutions which doesn't contain water. Eg. Alchohal
