An aqueous solution is one wherewater is the solvent in your solution. For example...aqueous HCl is hydrochloric acid (which is a gas) dissolved in water. ... On the other hand Liquid just describes the phase of matter (solid, liquid, gas, plasma).

The aqueous solution means a solution which contains water as the solvent.
Ex: If NaCl is added to water then it is called aqueous solution of NaCl

The liquid solution means in its liquid state:
Ex: NaOH, Bromine
