*natural selection is a process where the evolution of a particular kind of species depends on nature.for example,
*an example given in our book, the number of beetles which depend on nature.the attractive beetles in red colour are eaten up by crows leaving back the blue ans green ones those are less attractive.
an elephant detroys the population of red .
*these 2 situations brought rise to blue ones more in population.

*anything can happen in nature to the evolution of a species.this natural selection of destruction and favourable situation is natural selection.

*artificial selection is a process in which the evolution and speciation of a species is depending on artificial means (namely humans).
*for example again in our textbook, the story of wild cabbage.
*humans kind of took them  and modified it which gave rise to many varities.
they arrested the development of flower --gave rise to broccoli
sterile flower-----gave rise to cauliflower
the pods were cultivated ----gave rise to kohlrabi.
*these are man made or artificial means that lead to many evolution.

hope it helps!!!
