It prevents death even though very less people had died by events like chernobyl disasters than others like car deaths.it reduces crbon dioxide emissions and do not uses fossil fuels.Thorium reactor could sometimes solve the nuclear waste problems.Chernobyl disaster-that caused many deaths and no one could enter that area until 22.000AD.Its because plutonium[which is also used in nuclear energy]is very dangerous and loose its harmfulness after thousands of years.
