What is the difference between atmosphere and hydrosphere?

The main difference between Hydrosphere and Atmosphere are as follows:

The hydrosphere is the total mass of water found on the Earth's surface, while the atmosphere is the layer of air that covers the Earth.

The hydrosphere is found in the form of lakes, ponds, rivers, seas, oceans, water vapour, underground water and ice layer. Whereas the atmosphere is a mixture of different types of gases like nitrogen, oxygen, ozone, and helium.

Water vapour and dust particles are also part of this.

The water cycle in the hydrosphere and the water cycle through precipitation affect the climate. Whereas the atmosphere is responsible for the absorption of heat and movement of air. It affects heat and temperature.

Answer:

The difference between atmosphere and hydrosphere are:

Explanation:

ATMOSPHERE : The layers of gases that envelop a planet or other celestial body are its atmosphere. About 78% of the gases in the Earth's atmosphere are nitrogen, 21% are oxygen, and 1% are other gases. The troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, and exosphere are the primary layers, in order from lowest to highest. About 78% of the gases in the Earth's atmosphere are nitrogen, 21% are oxygen, 0.9 % are argon, and 0.1 % are other gases. The remaining 0.1 gases include trace amounts of neon, water vapour, methane, carbon dioxide, and other gases.

HYDROSPHERE : The total mass of water present on, beneath, and above the surface of a planet, minor planet, or natural satellite is known as the hydrosphere. The hydrosphere on Earth has been present for nearly 4 billion years, yet it is still evolving. The hydrosphere on Earth is thought to be 4 billion years old. The hydrosphere of the Earth has 2.5 percent freshwater and 97.5 percent saltwater. Humans can only easily access 0.3 percent of the freshwater in the hydrosphere of the Earth.
