What is the difference between being healthy and being disease free?

difference between healthy and disease free. ... (i)Healthy is a state of physical,social and mental wellbeing while disease free is a state of absence of body comfort. (ii)A healthy person can be disease free but a disease freeperson cannot be a healthyperson.

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being of an individual. Health is often affected by diseases. Health of an individual deteriorates with variations in physiological and biological aspects of the body. Health depends upon the diet, age, mental peace, type of work etc.  Healthy person can be free of diseases.


Disease free is a condition where the person is devoid of diseases. Disease free does not refer to a parson being healthy. It only states that the person is free of diseases. Body may function efficiently but mental and social well being need not be present.
