Coal = carbon. Carbon in the air is very bad because it causes global warming.
Candle = wax. Wax produces mostly water vapor when burnt.

candle burns with the flame but the cold does not burns with the flame
coal is the carbon product and its burning is harmful for the environment in other hand the candle is made of wax in doesn't produce any harmful products
